Satavar Seeds Planting Method

Satavar seeds are planted in the form of seeds. The seeds are sown in the form of tubers. From which plants are made. The seedlings obtained from this are separated from the plants and kept in polythene bags. After this, take the seedlings out of polythene in 25 to 30 days and transfer them to the field. To prepare the seeds for sowing, it is necessary to prepare the nursery.

Nursery Preparation Method

Satavar plants do not require much irrigation. But its plants must be irrigated in a month. Flood method can also be used for irrigation. With adequate irrigation, the roots of the plants develop well. At the time of irrigation, it must be noted that there is no water-logging, because in case of waterlogging, its yield is affected.

Weed control is done in a natural way in Satavar plants. Its plants should be weed control only when needed. Due to this weeding for weed control, the soil of the land also remains soft, and suitable environment is also available for the roots of the plants.

It takes 18 to 30 months for the crop to be ready. After this the plants should be excavated. April-May month is good for digging of roots. When the seeds on the plants appear ripe, then do light irrigation in the crop with spade method. This makes the soil of the field soft. And it is easy to uproot the roots of plants. After uprooting the roots of Satavar from the ground, remove the peel on the root. The peel is to be separated from the tuber method, after removing the peel from the roots, put the tubers in water and bring them to a boil. After boiling, keep it in cold water and peel it. Dry these roots in light sunlight.
